Story

This is the world of Phantasy Star - the Algol Star System, consisting of the planets Palma, Motavia, and Dezoris.

One day in December of the year A.W. 1268, you, an agent from Paseo on the planet Motavia, receive a letter from your old friend, Dr. Ken Miller, a scientist. He's made the greatest discovery of the century, he says, and he's invited you to come and see it.

Using your vacation time, you travel to Dr. Miller's home on the ice planet of Dezoris. But soon after your reunion, both the doctor and the machine he invented are spirited away by mysterious forces. Your adventure to rescue the doctor begins!
